Rama IX Super Tower Construction Update 2017 :- Rama IX Super Tower is a 615m megatall skyscraper under construction in Bangkok, Thailand. It will be 125 story building and once completed, it will dwarf the tallest building currently in Thailand, the MahaNakhon skyscraper, which tops out 314 m (1,030 ft) on its 77th storeys. It will be the tallest building in Thailand and second tallest building in Southeast Asia. Building will stand amongst Top 10 Tallest Buildings in the World when completed. This iconic building will be mixed use building and will include a luxury six-star hotel with 260 rooms, offices and an observation deck with panoramic views of the Thai capital and rooftop garden. This skyscraper is going to be the new landmark of Thailand. This iconic Building is designed by “Architects 49 Ltd”.

Rama IX Super Tower Construction Update 2017:-  Construction of the tallest building in bangkok began in March 2017, and The construction work is going smoothly and is expected to be completed in 2021. As of Aug 2017, excavation and piling work is underway and above ground work will begin in couple of months. Building is expected to be completed by 2020.

This Super tower will have a 125 stories and is estimated to cost around $500 million. Building will be nearly twice the size of the “the MahaNakhon skyscraper”, which is  current tallest building in bangkok as well as thailand. Developer intends the tower as the centre of a new business, shopping and residential district in Bangkok costing 100 billion baht (HK$24 billion). Building is designed under the concept as an environmentally-friendly and energy-efficient facility. Building has been developed in line with the requirements for the platinum certification of US Green Building Council’s Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) which Very few skyscraper in Thailand have got the LEED certifications to date. It will be built on almost 12 hectares of land in the city. Building is located near the intersection of Rama IX and Ratchadapisek roads , and will change the city skyline.
